Bawaal, the upcoming Hindi film starring actors Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles, is set to premiere on Prime Video on July 21, the streaming platform announced on social media on Wednesday.

Making the announcement, the team released a teaser which shows the lead pair, as Janhvi's character says that she has taken so much time to understand her relationship, that it became too late to save it. A glimpse ends with a hint of conflict that separates the love birds.

The film, which is set against the backdrop of World War II, has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari, who is known for Dangal. The film is backed by Nadiadwala Grandson Ent and Earthsky Pictures, with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari serving as co-producer. Bawaal is written by Nitesh Tiwari, Nikhil Mehrotra, Piyush Gupta, Shreyas Jain, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
