Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur's upcoming film, Gumraah, is set to hit screens on April 7.

Gumraah is the official remake of director Magizh Thirumeni's superhit Tamil film, Thadam (2019), which starred Arun Vijay, Vidya Pradeep, Tanya Hope, and Smruthi Venkat in the lead roles.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Gumraah is directed by debutant filmmaker Vardhan Ketkar.

Announcing the release date on social media, the makers said, "#Gumraah releasing in cinemas on 7th April, 2023!"

While Aditya features in a dual role, Mrunal will essay the role of a police officer.

Gumraah is produced by T-Series in collaboration with Murad Khetani's Cine1 Studios.
