Vivek Agnihotri, Priyadarshan come together to helm web series on India’s unsung heroes

Six national award-winning directors including Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri and Priyadarshan are coming together with a web-series called One Nation. Each director will helm one episode of the series which will delve into untold tales of India’s unsung heroes.

Announcing the series on Twitter, Vivek shared a picture with the National Award-winning filmmakers. “Six National Award winners will tell the untold tales of India's unsung heroes who dedicated their lives for 100 years to keep India as  One Nation. Priyadarshan, Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Dr Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, John Methew Mathan, Maju Bohara, Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan,” he captioned the post.

While Vivek won the National Award for Best Screenplay- Dilaogues for The Tashkent Files (2019), Priyadarshan bagged Best Feature film for Kanchivaram in 2007. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi who recently directed Samrat Prithviraji was conferred the National Award for Pinjar: Beyond Boundaries in 2004. John Matthew Matthan received the award for his debut film Sarfarosh (1999).
