Due to the increase in demand, Shah Rukh Khan’s return vehicle Pathaan will be screened in premium formats from 6 am onwards in India. As per a Times of India report, Yash Raj Films (YRF) has decided to screen Pathaan in premium formats such as IMAX 2D, CGV 4DX 2D, D-BOX 2D, PVR P[XL] and CGR ICE 2D, due to the unprecedented demand from the audience.

The film is expected to mint Rs 35-40 crore from advance bookings itself. Over 2.5 lakh tickets for the film have been sold already.

Pathaan was subject to a lot of controversy and boycott calls recently. Its song, Besharam Rang came into the line of fire after right-wing groups protested against Deepika Padukone donning an orange bikini in the song. The film is being boycotted and trolled on Twitter almost every day but seems like it won’t affect its box office.

The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan will release in theatres on January 25.
