Om Raut's Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, will release 150 days from today.

The film, which was postponed amid criticism of poor VFX, will release on June 16.

Director Om Raut tweeted on Thursday, “ll रामकार्य करने के लिए हम सदैव तत्पर हैं ll (We are always delighted to impart the virtue of Lord Ram). The world will witness India's timeless epic in 150 days!”

Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. An early teaser – featuring Prabhas as Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh – was widely trolled, taking brickbats for its sub-par VFX, Saif Ali Khan's modish look and the clothes of the Hanuman character.

The makers had earlier postponed the film to rework the visuals. It's reportedly one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
