Dough, debauchery, Delhi. The trailer of Netflix’s upcoming young-adult series Class released on Tuesday. Directed by Ashim Ahluwalia (Miss Lovely, 2012 and Daddy, 2017), Class is the official Hindi adaptation of the Spanish series Elite. It stars Gurfateh Pirzada, Anjali Sivaraman, Ayesha Kanga, Chayan Chopra, Chintan Rach, Cyaawal Singh, Madhyama Segal, Moses Koul, Naina Bhan, Piyush Khati and Zeyn Shaw in leading roles.

Based in the fictitious Hampton International school of Delhi, filled with “rich brats from dysfunctional families”, Class tells the story of three new scholarship students—Dheeraj Kumar (Piyush Khati), Saba (Madhyama Segal) and Balram Patwal (Cyaawal Singh) --on the block. It’s no work, only play and playboys at Hampton. Ego clashes, betrayals and bitterness is the norm. A murder happens and the privileged point fingers at the disadvantaged. Class seems like Student Of The Year happening in the world of Pataal Lok.

The series comes to Netflix on February 3. Posting the trailer on Instagram, Netflix India wrote, You MAY enter the Class but CAN you? Only one way to find the answer. See you in Class on February 3! The official adaptation of Elite, #CLASS is coming on Netflix!”
