The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's comeback vehicle, Pathaan, a big-canvas spy actioner featuring many vehicles, will drop on January 10, reports state.

The makers had held off releasing the trailer earlier in line with industry convention. A teaser, featuring SRK, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, was released in November last year, followed by two songs. The film is slated for release on January 25. 

The track Besharam Rang from Pathaan courted controversy after BJP leaders and various groups raised objections to the outfits donned by Deepika Padukone, claiming they hurt religious sentiments.

Recently, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) asked the makers to incorporate changes in the film, including its songs. 

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan buffs up Yash Raj Film's Spy Universe shared by the Tiger franchise and War (2019). It will be followed by the release of Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 on November 10 around Diwali this year.
