This Valentine's day, the super-hit romantic Hindi film Jab We Met, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, was re-released after 16 years. And the film was received well by the audiences once again.

Expressing gratitude, the film's director Imtiaz Ali took to his social media handle and wrote,"There must be a way to express my gratitude for all the love Jab We Met is getting in the theatres on its second outing, but words will never be enough. Out here, away from any city or theatre, what I can do is close my eyes and imagine I am with my companions from JWM times and with the exuberant audience at cinema halls celebrating my little film." The 2007 film has Shahid as Aditya, a heartbroken businessman and Kareena as Geet, a live wire who plans to elope with her lover. Their lives and perspectives change after they meet each other.
