Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi-starrer Farzi were recently released on Prime Video. Actor Samantha, who starred in the second instalment of Raj and DK's popular series, The Family Man, recently saw Farzi, and showered praises for the series. 

In an Instagram story, Samantha wrote, "Entertainment and so much fun and yet such complex characters and relationships. Such an international feel to the show. I loved every performance, and everyone in the cast was so good. The writing, editing, music and dialogue, especially all the witty one-liners. Killer stuff, as expected from Raj & DK."

The crime-thriller series also stars Regina Cassandra, Bhuvan Arora, and veteran actor Amol Palekar. Raj & DK have written the show with Sita R Menon and Suman Kumar.

Lasting eight episodes, Farzi is described as a fast-paced, edgy, one-of-a-kind crime thriller'. It follows a clever underdog street artist's pursuit to con the system favouring the rich and the cat-and-mouse race between him and law enforcement.
