Shah Rukh Khan has a message for his fans. The actor thanked his audience and well-wishers on Wednesday with an Instagram post for making Pathaan--his return to the theatres after four years—a roaring success. The film has already minted Rs 430.25 crore at the Indian Box office and will soon overtake the lifetime collection of K.G.F 2 (Hindi). The film has clocked Rs 849 crore worldwide and will soon enter the Rs 1,000 crore club.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Shah Rukh posted a sunkissed selfie. The actor is seen wearing a white T-shirt and a bead necklace with the sun’s rays shining in the background. “The Sun is alone….it Burns….and comes out of the darkness to Shine again. Thank u all for letting the Sun shine on Pathaan,” he captioned the post.

Pathaan has proved to be one of Shah Rukh’s biggest hits. Before it, the actor was going through a dry phase as films like ZeroJab Harry Met Sejal and Raees didn’t perform well at the box office. The Siddharth Anand directorial has also revived Bollywood which had a dismal time after the pandemic and only a few films like Drishyam 2Brahmastra, The Kashmir Files and Gangubai Kathiawadi could mint money.
