On Sunday, actor Pankaj Tripathi shared a new poster of his upcoming film Main Atal Hoon on Instagram and announced that the film's trailer is set to drop on Wednesday, December 20.
In Hindi, the actor wrote in the caption, "This is the story of that poet Atal who penned the history of our country." The poster features a fully-transformed Pankaj as three different versions of Vajpayee.
A biopic of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Main Atal Hoon is helmed by Ravi Jadhav. The filmmaker is known for Natarang and Balgandharva which were National Award-winning films. The film is written by Utkarsh Naithani.
Bhanushali Studios Limited and Legend Studios will present Main Atal Hoon, which is backed by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan & Kamlesh Bhanushali. Salim–Sulaiman has composed music for the film while Manoj Muntashir has penned the verses.
Main Atal Hoon is gearing up for release and is slated to hit theatres on January 19, 2024.
With regards to other projects, Pankaj had quite a fruitful year with releases like OMG 2, and the recent Kadak Singh. Coming up, he also has the multi-starrer Metro In Dino and Stree 2 in the pipeline.
