Actor Bobby Deol's entry song from Animal has been creating a buzz on the internet ever since it was theatrically released. In the song, the actor, who plays the character of Abrar Haque, enters the screen with the song Jamal Kudu playing in the background.
Ever since the film’s release, the song has become a rage. This pushed the makers to release the full audio as well as the video song.
Jamal Kudu is inspired by a popular Iranian song called ‘Jamaal Jamaaloo’. Music composer Harshvardhan Rameshwar has reimagined it for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
Apart from Ranbir and Bobby Deol, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.
Despite the polarizing opinions on the film, Animal has been raging at the box office with the film earning Rs 750 crores at the box office. Our review of the film read: “Love happens crudely, and misogynistically in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s universe. Ranvijay spots Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna) while she is getting engaged. He looks at her like Kabir Singh or Arjun Reddy looked at their Preetis. I want her. Love here is more obsession and possession than affection. It is also manipulation. Ranvijay uses an evolutionary explanation to brainwash Gitanjali into marrying him. “In the olden days, there weren’t parents or castes, women chose their partners themselves. Who would you choose if not an alpha?” he asks her. It’s convoluted like feminism being mansplained.”
