Ranveer Brar is the latest to join Hansal Mehta's upcoming murder mystery film starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. The actor made his debut with Modern Love Mumbai as a gay chef, who finds love in another man. 

Speaking to Hindustan Times about the role, Ranveer said, “For this film, the greyness of the script attracted me. I think we are all very black-and-white in our projection and understanding of society. I always feel navigating the grey makes me a better person and professional, and that’s why what attracted me to the character.”

Adding that the role also helps him with his cooking, he added, “I’m glad to be getting to do different things. A project like this allows me to explore myself, and that reflects better in my food, too." The upcoming yet-to-be-titled film has been co-produced by Ekta Kapoor under her production house Balaji Motion Pictures.
