We had earlier reported that Kriti Sanon was launching her production house, Blue Butterfly Films, and the maiden production was set to star her and Kajol in the lead roles. Titled Do Patti, the film is co-produced by Kanika Dhillon's Kathha Pictures.

The latest update from Team Do Patti is that the film has gone on floors in Mumbai on Friday. 

Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the suspense thriller, which is written by Kanika, will stream exclusively on Netflix. Do Patti is set in the hills of North India and marks the reunion of Kriti and Kajol after Dilwale (2015).

Earlier, Kajol said, "Do Patti has a standout script that promises a unique blend of adventure and mystery. It is a story that is not only rooted in India but also promises the thrill that can be enjoyed by entertainment enthusiasts across borders.” Sharing her excitement about the project, Kriti said, “I am excited to collaborate with the extremely talented Kanika Dhillon as a producer... Adding to our women power is the amazing Kajol ma’am, who I am thrilled to be working again with after almost eight years.”
