Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War gets release date

The film is all set to release in 10 languages

On Tuesday, on the occasion of Independence Day, director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri released the teaser of his upcoming film, The Vaccine War. Along with the teaser, he also announced on his official X handle that the film will hit theatres on September 28. 

The 29-second teaser starts by showing a lab, in which two scientists are seen carrying a lab rat and a box labelled 'infectious substance', respectively. The teaser then introduces the film as India's first bio-science film. 

The cast of The Vaccine War includes Anupam Kher, Vivek's wife Pallavi Joshi Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Raima Sen among others. The film is all set to release in 10 languages including Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Bhojpuri, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, and Bengali.

The Vaccine War alludes to the exploration of Indian bio-scientists and their groundbreaking indigenous vaccines. The film also aims to honour the unwavering dedication of the fraternity of scientists and the medical community who tirelessly faced the unprecedented challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
