SonyLIV dropped the teaser of the upcoming series Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story from acclaimed filmmaker Hansal Mehta. The upcoming series is a follow-up of Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992. 

Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story tells the life of  Abdul Karim Telgi, who earned a fortune by printing fake stamp paper. The teaser reveals that the upcoming series will deal with a scam of Rs 30,000 crore. The face of the main protagonist has not yet been revealed.

Scam 2003 – The Telgi Story is directed by Tushar Hiranandani, based on the book  Reporter ki Diary, authored by journalist Sanjay Singh. 

The official logline of the series read, "The story of one of India's biggest scams by Abdul Karim Telgi, which shocked the nation with its unimaginable scale."

Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with StudioNEXT, the series will start streaming on SonyLIV on September 2.
