The first look of Chandu Champion, the upcoming Hindi film starring actor Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, was released by the actor on social media on Tuesday.

Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film will be a sports drama and is reportedly based on a real-life story. However, the plot of the film is kept under wraps. Kabir, in an earlier interview, had revealed that Chandu Champion will be about an “unknown hero.”

The first look shows a mildly bruised Kartik Aaryan starring sternly, while wearing a suit, suggesting his military involvement.

The actor also updated on the film's progress and said that the first schedule was wrapped up in London. Chandu Champion is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE). The film will also be Kartik’s second collaboration with Sajid after Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Meanwhile, Kartik was recently seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani.
