Nushrratt Bharuccha, who is currently shooting for her upcoming film Akelli, shared a picture from the sets on Instagram showing the injury she got while shooting.

In the picture, Nushratt can be seen with a wound on her forehead with blood stains. The caption for the photo said, “Akelli.”

Akelli is helmed by debutant filmmaker Pranay Meshram. Set in Iraq, Akelli is about how a person realises her own capabilities in adverse situations when trapped in a desert. 

The project is backed by Nitin Vaidya, the producer and founder of Dashami Studioz.

Nushratt recently had a cameo in Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar. She has worked with the director previously in Pyaar Ka Punchnama (1 and 2) and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Apart from this, Nushrratt also recently wrapped up the shoot for Chhorii 2.
