The makers of Adipurush, the upcoming multilingual film starring Prabhas in the lead role, unveiled the first look poster of the film on Friday. 

The poster features Prabhas as the titular character, as he aims an arrow with his bow to the thundering sky. The film is directed by Om Raut and is scheduled to release in theatres on January 12, 2023. The makers are also set to unveil the teaser of the film on Sunday, at an event in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. 

Besides Prabhas, the film also features actors Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon as the leads. The film is expected to be based on the Hindu epic Ramayana with Khan essaying the antagonist. Hence, the makers have planned to unveil the teaser in Ayodhya which is considered to be the birthplace of Lord Ram. 

T Series is producing the film on a grand scale.
