Ajay Devgn shared the first poster of his upcoming film Drishyam 2 on Instagram on Wednesday. The film, directed by Abhishek Pathak, is the sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam which was a remake of a 2013 film of the same name and starred Mohanlal.

Ajay will reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar, the family man who is harbouring a secret. Shriya Saran and Tabu will also reprise their roles.

The poster shows Ajay and Shriya’s characters with their kids, backs turned. Ajay can be seen holding a shovel, Shriya a bag and their kids a CD and a rod respectively. They are looking at a ‘satsang shivir’ which served as a major plot point in the first film. The teaser of the film will be revealed tomorrow. The film releases on November 18.

Sharing the poster Ajay wrote, “2 aur 3 October ko kya hua tha yaad hai na? Vijay Salgaonkar is back with his family. Recall Teaser Out Tomorrow! #Drishyam2.”

Apart from Drishyam 2, Ajay has a slew of projects lined up for release, including Thank GodMaidaan and his own directorial Bholaa, which also features Tabu in a pivotal role. Ajay was last seen in Runway 34 alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh; he had also directed the movie.
