CE Features

Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam 2 is all set to release theatrically on November 18 this year. Ahead of that, the actor on Tuesday took to his social media handle to share pictures of old bills that served as crucial evidence in the plot of Drishyam 1.

Sharing pictures of a restaurant receipt, Swami Chinmayananda Ji CD, and bus and cinema tickets, dating back to October 2 and 3, Ajay Devgn wrote, "Kuch Purane bills Haath Lage Aaj (Found some old bills)." According to reports, the makers are planning to begin promotions for Drishyam 2 from October 2, as the date holds a special significance in the first part.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film is an adaptation of the Malayalam Drishyam 2 released last year. The sequel begins seven years after the events of the first film. Ajay returns as Vijay Salgaonkar and is joined in the cast by Tabu, Shriya Saran and franchise entrant Akshaye Khanna. Actors Ishita Dutta and Rajat Kapoor are also part of the film. The Telugu and Kannada versions, Drushyam 2 and Drishya 2, were released in 2021.
