Ajay Devgn lends voiceover for Ponniyin Selvan Hindi version

Actor Ajay Devgn has provided the narration for the Hindi version of Ponniyin Selvan 1, director Mani Ratnam revealed during a press interaction in Mumbai.

The filmmaker extended his gratitude to Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor, who gave the voice-over for the Hindi version of the trailer. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan and Mammootty did the Tamil and Malayalam narration, respectively.

The film will hit the screens worldwide on September 30. The historical drama is a two-part film based on the epic book of the same name, authored by Kalki. The film features a star cast, including Jayam Ravi in the titular role, Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Lal, Sarath Kumar, and Ashwin Kakamanu.

Ponniyin Selvan is produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions and the duology will release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
