Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Qureshi-starrer Double XL will release in theatres in October 14. 

Directed by Satramm Ramani, the comedy-drama questions bodyweight stereotypes. The makers announced the release date with a new teaser. It shows Huma and Sonakshi's characters seated on a bench, questioning unreal expectations set by society. 

Shot in India and the UK, Double XL follows plus-size women, one from heartland Uttar Pradesh and the other from New Delhi, as they navigate a world where beauty or attraction is often attached to a woman’s size.

The film also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra. It was conceived by Mudassar Aziz, who is heading the writing departments. 

Double XL is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, Wakaoo Films and Mudassar Aziz in association with T-Series Films.
