Naseeruddin Shah to star in Hindi remake of Udal?

 It is expected that Ratheesh will helm the Hindi remake too

Director Ratheesh Raghunandan's latest film, Udal, received critical acclaim upon its release earlier this year. It had come to light recently that Sree Gokulam Movies will be remaking this film in Hindi. 

Now, the rumours are abuzz that Naseeruddin Shah will be essaying the role played by Indrans in the original.  It is expected that Ratheesh will helm the Hindi remake too. 

The story of Udal (Body), which featured Dhyan Sreenivasan, Durga Krishna and Indrans in the lead, happens in one night and revolves around a daughter-in-law, who has been taking care of her ailing mother-in-law.

While Manoj Pillai shot the Malayalam version, Santhosh Thundiyil will be the cinematographer of the Hindi version.

Details about the rest of the cast and crew are expected to be out soon.
