After Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jahnvi Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor praised Brahmastra, director Hansal Mehta is the latest celebrity to review the film.

Sharing his experience on Twitter of how he was unable to get tickets initially, Hansal said that apart from the film what he enjoyed “even more” is going to the movie hall for a morning show that was “60-70 % full”.

“ I really enjoyed #Brahmastra. What I enjoyed even more is going to a cinema hall for a nearly 60-70% full morning show after failing to get tickets for last night’s shows. And long queues for the later shows at the same multiplex. The 2nd part is going to be HUGE,” he wrote.

The Scam 1992 director also added that he has respect for the “passion and perseverance” of director Ayan Mukerji.

“So much respect for the passion and perseverance of #AyaanMukherjee @karanjohar  @malhotra_namit. Also the ever luminous #RanbirKapoor and @aliaa08. I really hope this film works wonders,” he said in another tweet.

As per the makers, Brahmastra has garnered Rs 160 crore in gross collections worldwide in 2 days. Although critics have been panning the film for its script and dialogue, Brahmastra’s collections have increased by about 13 per cent on the second day (from Rs 75 crore to Rs 85 crore).

The Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt starrer is estimated to be made at a budget of Rs 410 crore. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy.
