Actor Salman Khan is reportedly down with dengue and won't be hosting the latest episodes of Bigg Boss 16, reports state. 

Salman has skipped hosting the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of Bigg Boss, with Karan Johar replacing him as the temporary host. Karan also hosted the first-ever OTT version of Big Boss last year. 

According to reports, Salman is recovering from dengue and has been advised rest by doctors. He was shooting for his film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, for the past few weeks. He is expected to resume the shoot following his recovery. He will also resume his Bigg Boss commitments post recovery. 

An official statement about the actor's health is still awaited. 

Salman was seen in a cameo appearance in the Chiranjeevi-starrer GodFather. The Bollywood superstar recently announced the new release dates for his upcoming films. While Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has been pushed to Eid next year, the action thriller Tiger 3 will arrive on Diwali in 2023. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film also stars Katrina Kaif.
