Saqib Saleem joins Varun Dhawan-Samantha's Citadel?

Actor Saqib Saleem has boarded the Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu-led web series Citadel, Pinkvilla reported.

Helmed by Raj and DK, the show is a localized Indian spin-off of the forthcoming International series Citadel, led by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The mothership series is being directed by the Russo brothers and Patrick Moran.

Saqib Saleem has appeared in films like Hawaa Hawaai, Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Dil Juunglee, Race 3 and 83. On the web, he fronted the debut season of the ZEE5 crimes series Rangbaaz. Saqib also appeared in Crackdown and Unpaused: Naya Safar.

According to the report, Saqib has started his prep for Citadel and will essay an important character in the series. The filming is expected to commence in the later half of November, the report adds.
