Kal Ho Naa Ho, one of the contemporary classics in Hindi cinema, completed 19 years on Monday. 

The film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Saif Ali Khan, was directed by Nikkil Advani and written by Karan Johar. Kal Ho Naa Ho was produced by Yash Johar under the Dharma productions banner.

Marking the occasion of completing 19 years, the film's producer Karan Johar, shared a few pictures from the film's sets on Instagram. His caption read, "An entire lifetime of memories, in a heartbeat! This film gave so much more than just that - it gave me joy, unbreakable bonds, a different lens for storytelling and of course - the last film set I could be on with my father. And for that, I will forever be grateful to this film!"

Kal Ho Naa Ho is celebrated as a milestone in Hindi cinema because of its urban approach to storytelling (the film was set in New York City and had an elegant urban upmarket styling). The music and song track composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy were chartbusters.
