Drishyam 2 inches towards the Rs 150 crore mark in its second weekend

Ajay Devgn, Tabu and Akshaye Khanna starrer Drishyam 2 marches on successfully, even in the second week. The film is inching towards the Rs 150 crore mark and has already garnered Rs 143.9 crore in its second weekend.

The film minted Rs 7.87 crore on its second Friday, followed by Rs 14.05 crore on Saturday and Rs 17.32 crore on Sunday. The film had crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in just eight days of its release.

Drishyam 2 is the sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam. Both films are remakes of Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam films of the same names. It received good response from critics for its gripping story and tight screenplay.Talks are on for a possibility of making a third part.
