The official runtime of Ajay Devgn's upcoming crime thriller Drishyam 2 has been revealed. The film is 142 minutes long, it has been announced. The Malayalam original of the same name, starring Mohan Lal in the lead role, is 153 long and from the run time, the makers seemed to have made the screenplay tighter.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film also stars Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and Shriya Saran in prominent roles. The first part of the film, which was released in 2015, was directed by Nishikant Kamat, who passed way in 2020. Drishyam 2 will tell the story of a family man named Vijay Salgaonkar who has to safeguard his family from the legal consequences after his daughter murders her molester.
