Answering to a fan, who asked Khan about when they can expect a film with actor Vijay and himself, Khan replied, "He is really cool guy…films happen when they happen so…if they have to they will." It is to be noted that speculations are rife that Vijay will be doing a cameo role in Khan's upcoming film Jawan, directed by Atlee.

Khan, who recently celebrated his birthday, also expressed his excitement of seeing a swarm of fans gathered outside his residence to catch a glimpse of the actor. "It’s been years because of Covid restrictions so it was really nice to see people come to visit," the actor tweeted.

Most recently, the makers of Pathaan had released the film's teaser on the actor's birthday. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Speaking about John, Khan said that they had known each other for years and it was a "pleasure" working with "one of the most mild and well mannered person."
