No one can direct it better than me, says Kangana Ranaut who starts prep for Emergency

Kangana Ranaut has started the preparation for her upcoming directorial Emergency. Making the announcement on her Instagram stories, the actor said that of all the roles she plays, she is the most comfortable of being a filmmaker.

Kangana posted photos from the prep on her Instagram stories. “Rekee day one... don’t mess with me in my resting pose,” she captioned one of the photos.

Earlier, talking about the film, Kangana wrote, “Pleased to wear director’s hat again. After working on Emergency for more than a year, I finally figured no one can direct it better than me. Collaborating with fabulous writer Ritesh Shah. Even if it means sacrificing on various acting assignments, I am determined to do it. My excitement is high. This is going to be a tremendous journey.”

Kangana’s latest release Dhaakad was a dud at the box office. According to reports, the film sold just 20 tickets in India and earned Rs 4,420 on Day 8 of its release. When it comes to upcoming releases, she has Tejas and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in her kitty.
