A Pakistani politician and singer-songwriter Abrar-ul-Haq has accused filmmaker Karan Johar of stealing his song 'Nach Punjaban'. The song features in Karan's upcoming film Jugjugg Jeeyo.

In a tweet, Abrar stated that he has not sold his song 'Nach Punjaban' to any Indian movie and that producer like Karan Johar should "not use copy song." He also said that he has not licensed the song to anyone and if somebody claims they should produce the agreement, otherwise he would take legal action. "This is my sixth song being copied," he added.

Jugjugg Jeeyo's trailer was recently released and the song features in it. The film, directed by Raj Mehta, stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Neetu Kapoor in key roles. It is slated to release on June 24.
