Nawazuddin Siddiqui celebrates birthday at Cannes for 7th time

The Lunchbox star Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be celebrating his birthday at the Cannes Film Festival for the seventh time today.

He attended the festival in the year 2013 of the screening of his films Miss Lovely and Gangs of Wasseypur were screened at the festival. He kept attending the festival in the following years for his films Monsoon Shootout, The Lunchbox, Bombay Talkies, Raman Raghav 2.0, and Manto, which were also screened at the prestigious film festival. Coincidentally, the actor's birthday kept falling on the days when he was attending the fest. 

Talking about his birthday celebrations, Nawaz, who is a part of the Indian contingent this year at Cannes, said, "Representing India is always special. I have celebrated six birthdays here in Cannes as my films were selected, but this time I am attending the fest as an Indian delegate, and it makes it more special and memorable."

On the work front, the actor has an interesting lineup of films in his kitty which include Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehraz, Adbhut, and Laxman Lopez.
