Bollywood actor Lara Dutta has tested positive for Covid-19. As per reports, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sealed her Bandra residence and declared it a Micro Containment Zone. While Lara is yet to speak about it, she is the only one with the virus in her family, reports add. 

On Friday, Mumbai recorded 38 new Covid-19 cases amid rumours of a fourth wave. 

Lara last appeared in Kaun Banegi Shikharwati (on ZEE5). She portrayed late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in last year's BellBottom, co-starring Akshay Kumar. Hiccups and Hookups, a Lionsgate Play series starring Lara and Prateik Babbar, has been renewed for a new season.
