Actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja on Monday announced her pregnancy on Instagram. Sonam and her husband Anand Ahuja are expecting their first child soon. The couple got married in 2018.

"Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you," Sonam wrote sharing pictures with Anand.

Several family members and other celebrities congratulated them on social media. Sonam's father, actor Anil Kapoor, shared their pictures and wrote he's excited to be a grandfather.

"Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life - grandfather. Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news," Anil Kapoor wrote.

On the film front, Sonam's last appearance was in The Zoya Factor (2019) and AK vs AK (2020). Last year, she wrapped up the Sujoy Ghosh-produced thriller Blind in Glasgow, Scotland.
