Rishi Kapoor's final film Sharmaji Namkeen to release on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video will premiere Sharmaji Namkeen, the final film of late actor Rishi Kapoor.

Directed by Hitesh Bhatia, the film follows a recently retired man who discovers his passion for cooking after joining a riotous women’s kitty circle. Rishi is joined in the cast by Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, Sheeba Chaddha and Isha Talwar. Paresh Rawal has completed Rishi's portions in the film.

Sharmaji Namkeen will release online on March 31.

Rishi Kapoor passed away from leukemia in April, 2020. He was 67. His last screen appearance before his death was in The Body (2019)
