It was reported last week that Deepika Padukone's heart rate had increased while shooting for Project K in Hyderabad. The actor was reportedly rushed to a private hospital for treatment. 

Addressing the reports, Project K producer Aswini Dutt told a publication that Deepika's hospital visit was part of a routine check-up. The actor had returned from the Cannes Film Festival before joining the sets of Project K.

Aswini was quoted as saying by Deccan Chronicle, "Earlier she (Deepika) was down with Covid, but after recovering she left for Europe. And straightaway from Europe, she landed on our film sets. After mild fluctuations in her BP, she visited the hospital for an hour for a routine check-up just to make sure that everything was normal. It was not a health scare," Aswini clarified,  

Apart from Deepika and Prabhas, Project K also stars Amitabh Bachchan. The film is being directed by Nag Ashwin. 

Deepika also has Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan. Her other projects include Fighter and the Indian adaptation of The Intern co-starring Amitabh Bachchan.
