Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif receive death threats on social media, case registered

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have received death threats on social media by an unidentified person, Mumbai Police said on Monday.

A case has been registered at Mumbai’s Santacruz police station and a probe into the matter has begun. As per police the actors were receiving threats on Instagram and the accused was also stalking and threatening Katrina.

A first information report (FIR) has been registered under sections 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 354-D (stalking), stated a police official. No arrests have been made so far. A case under IT Act has also been registered by the police.

On the work front, Katrina is awaiting the release of Phone Bhooth with Ishaan Khattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi. She also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 and Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas is also on the cards for the actor. Vicky, on the other hand, has Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur and Shashank Khaitan’s Govinda Naam Mera in his kitty.
