Shooting begins for John Abraham-starrer Tehran

The shooting for Tehran, starring John Abraham, began today. The film is helmed by Maddock Films.

The production house shared an announcement video of the upcoming action thriller on their YouTube channel. The first glimpse shows John in an intense look standing in front of what looks like a map. As per the announcement video, Tehran is inspired by true events.

This is John's first collaboration with Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films (Badlapur, Stree, Bala). The film is produced in association with Bake my Cake Films.

Earlier, John had tweeted a poster for the film. The poster showed the Tohid Tunnel in the Iranian capital of Tehran.

The film has been directed by Arun Gopalan and written by Ritesh Shah and Ashish Prakash Verma. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Shobhna Yadav and Sandeep Leyzell.

John’s latest release was Attack. Apart from this he is awaiting the release of Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. He will also be featuring in Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
