Fatima Sana Shaikh starts prepping for Sam Bahadur, shares pic with director Meghna Gulzar

Fatima Sana Shaikh has started prepping up for her role in the upcoming film Sam Bahadur, based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The Meghna Gulzar directorial has Vicky Kaushal essaying the titular role. Fatima will essay the role of India's first female Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film.

The actor recently took to social media to share a photo taken with director Meghna Gulzar from one of her prep sessions. Fatima had earlier said that she has been reading a lot about Indira Gandhi apart from watching her old interviews as part of the preps.

Fatima was last seen in the Amazon anthology Modern Love Mumbai. She was part of the segment Raat Rani, directed by Shonali Bose. The Dangal actor is currently working in Taapsee Pannu's production Dhak Dhak along with Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak and Sanjana Sanghi.
