Mouni Roy married fiance Suraj Nambiar in Goa on Thursday, January 27. The ceremony was held in morning according to Malayali rituals. Mouni dons a red-bordered sari in the pictures.
Mouni had earlier introduced Suraj on her Instagram. The couple's haldi and mehendi ceremonies were held yesterday, on January 26. A Bengali wedding ceremony is also expected to take place in the evening. Mouni is Bengali while Suraj hails from a Jain family from Bangalore. Actors Mandira Bedi, Arjun Bijlani and Aashka Goradia are among the guests attending the wedding.
Mouni and Suraj reportedly met in Dubai after which they started to date. The actor did not confirm her relationship officially until recently.
Mouni started out on television with popular shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev and Naagin. She made her Bollywood debut in the historical sports drama Gold (2018). Her upcoming release is Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
