Akshay Kumar and Samantha have featured together in a new ad. Akshay, playing an inept thief, breaks into Samantha's house at night. Noticing a packet of kurkure, he rushes to dig in but is caught by Samantha. She and her family share the pack and eventually offer it to Akshay. As he finishes it off greedily, Samantha calls the cops on him.

Akshay shared the ad on social media with a promotional caption. It was met with positive responses, with fans demanding a film collaboration between Akshay and Samantha.

Samantha made her Hindi OTT debut with The Family Man Season 2 (2020). She's expected to make her Bollywood feature debut in a film produced by Taapsee Pannu.

Akshay, meanwhile, starred with Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan in the recently released Atrangi Re. He had made his Tamil debut in 2.0. The actor's upcoming film, Prithviraj, has been delayed amid rising COVID-19 cases.
