Actor Ranvir Shorey's son Haroon has tested negative for Covid-19.

Haroon, 10, had contracted the virus a week ago. He was holidaying with his father in Goa. His routine RT-PCR test for the flight to Mumbai came back positive. Later, Ranvir claimed facing harassment at the hotel they were quarantining in. 

In a new Instagram post, Ranvir wrote, "As was the case with me, my son has tested negative about a week later. It's been an ordeal, but we are finally free again! Thanks to everyone for their good wishes."

Ranvir co-parents Haroon with ex-wife Konkona Sen Sharma. The couple were separated in 2015 and granted divorce in 2020.
