Bollywood actor John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal have tested positive for COVID-19. On Instagram stories, John said they have mild symptoms and are isolating at home. They are both vaccinated.

"I came in contact with 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had Covid. Priya and I have tested positive for Covid. We have been quarantined at home so haven't been in contact with anyone else," John wrote.

"We are both vaccinated and experiencing mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Mask up," he added.

John celebrated his 49th birthday last month. The actor had two theatrical releases in 2021, Mumbai Saga and Satyameva Jayate 2. His upcoming film is Attack (January 28, 2022). He will also be seen in Ek Villain Returns and the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathan.
