Veteran actor Shabana Azmi has tested positive for Covid-19. In a post, Shabana shared her diagnosis and asked those who came in contact with her to get tested. 

"Have tested positive for Covid today. Have isolated myself at home and request all those who were in close contact with me to please get tested," she wrote. 

Shabana will feature in Karan Johar's new directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt with Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. 

Shabana is also attached to the upcoming Paramount+ adaptation of the Halo franchise. She portrays Admiral Margaret Parangosky in the series.
