Hansal Mehta and Kartik Aaryan's upcoming film has been pushed indefinitely, reports state.

The Aligarh and Scam 1992 director was said to collaborate with Kartik on a new film. However, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the project has faced continuous delays and has been pushed indefinitely. The portal, quoting a source, said that both Kartik and Hansal are busy with their respective line-ups and don't have dates for their collective venture.

While the report does not specify the name of the film, Hansal and Kartik were said to team for a film called Captain India. Announced in 2021, the action-drama was meant to star Kartik Aaryan in the role of a courageous pilot.

Hansal wrapped up his film with Kareena Kapoor Khan earlier this year. He also has the next installment of Scam on the cards.

Kartik, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Shehzada and also has Satyaprem Ki Katha in 2023.
