Vicky Kaushal is reuniting with his Love Per Square Foot (2018) director Anand Tiwari for a new film.

Co-produced by Amazon Prime Video and Dharma Productions, the as-yet-untitled film will release theatrically on July 28, 2023. Alongside Vicky, the film will also star Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

This is Prime Video's second film co-production in India after Ram Setu (2022). Leo Media Collective, co-founded by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, are also partners in the project.

Anand had previously directed the musical drama series Bandish Bandits on Prime Video.

Talking about his new film, Anand in a joint statement with Amritpal said, "We are excited to make our theatrical debut working alongside two of the biggest champions of storytelling in India – Prime Video and Dharma. The film is a wholesome entertainer. We are certain that the audiences will love watching a story that hasn’t been told before."

Karan Johar of Dharma Productions said, “Anand Tiwari’s upcoming film is special on several counts. It is helmed by a master storyteller, features Vicky Kaushal – a National Film Award-winning actor, and is also a natural progression of our association with Prime Video.”
