Anupam Kher has started shooting for Anurag Basu’s upcoming film Metro…In Dino. The film is a follow-up to Anurag’s 2007 film Life in a...Metro.

The Kashmir Files actor made the announcement on Instagram. He posted a video in which he is seen bantering with Anurag.

“Presenting my 533th film! Today is our first day. Send us love and good wishes! Starting my 533rd film with one and only @anuragbasuofficial. Have always admired his cinema and his craft. Today is the first day of the shoot of the film. A great beginning to the end of the year. Hail! (sic),” he captioned the post.

Ali Fazal, who is also featuring in the film, will also start shooting for it in January. He plays one of the lead characters alongside Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur. Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma and Fatima Sana Shaikh are also featured in the cast. Anurag’s last directorial was Ludo on Netflix. He will also be helming Aashiqui 3 starring Kartik Aaryan.
