Akshay Kumar begins filming for Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat

Backed by Vaseem Qureshi, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat is set to release in cinemas on Diwali 2023

We had earlier reported that Akshay Kumar was playing a cameo in Mahesh Manjrekar's upcoming period drama, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.

Akshay was roped in to play the role of Chhatrapti Shivaji Maharaj in the film, which also stars Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Akshay, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde. 

The actor, who is currently filming for Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat took to Instagram to share the news about starting production for the movie.

"Today I am starting the shooting of the Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat in which I feel lucky to be able to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji. I will do my best by taking inspiration from his life and the blessing of Mother Jijau! Keep blessing us," read the post.

Backed by Vaseem Qureshi, Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat is set to release in cinemas on Diwali 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
